No TV: day 5 ...and Myrtle Beach

Ahoy from the land of milk and honey. No wait, that's not right. More like the land of sunsets, sunrises and sandy beaches. Myrtle Beach is incredible! The view from my hotel room is stunning and I have a really crappy camera-phone picture to prove it...see, right there on the left.

The television fast is still in full swing and I have to admit being in a hotel room does present its challenges. Not because I am dying to watch something mind blowing (ha! ha!) but simply because I'm not in my own home where I would have a laundry list of things to fill my time. Here I'm kind of at the mercy of what came in my suit case or going out somewhere. I drove a regional GM vehicle over for the Sales Rally tomorrow, it is currently sitting 10 floors below me in the ballroom which means I won't be driving around the town souvenir shopping until tomorrow night. (Kelly asked me to bring her a turtle from Myrtle Beach and I think a fine name for that turtle will be Yurtle.) (Yes, she might kill me if I actually bring her [read: Charley] a turtle.) I did go to dinner with the trainer that is in town for tomorrow's rally. We went to TGIFriday and although I have no picture to share, my dinner was scrumptious! Some sort of Parmesan encrusted chicken, cheese tortellini and tomato/mozzarella salad. Yummy all the way to the tummy!
Here is a picture of me from a few nights ago. Why? Because this is my blog...that is why! Notice the bag of sugar on the table behind me? It was still there when I left my apartment this morning. No, I don't have time for television. And will someone please tell the maid to put the Costco groceries away!
The friend who asked for this picture said I didn't look happy. I said I was just tired, but now as I look at the picture I see a glimmer of a smirk. I think I was perfectly happy, you just can't tell because of the awesome quality of the camera-phone image. Perfectly happy I say!
Nighty night world!
