DNA

Did you know that three men, James Watson, Francis Crick and Maurice Wilkins identified the structure of DNA? Their discovery was heavily based on the work of one Rosalind Franklin, used without her permission.

The sad thing...those three men (Watson, Crick & Wilkins) received a shared Nobel Prize. Rosalind died of cancer 5 years after their discovery and since Nobel Prizes are not given to deceased persons, she never received one.

Just thought I would share. Maybe you would like to read more about this HERE or HERE or HERE.
