Juicing | Day 2 | dinner

Thanks to Longhorn Steakhouse I chewed on some Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad for dinner.

It was yum.  Not one piece of lettuce was left in the bowl.

Tomorrow's juice menu does NOT look good at all.  I'm a little frightened.  I might need to play with the ingredients a little, but we'll see.

So I left a comment the other day, however it was from my phone and of course it didn't post!

We did a juice fast back in May, for 10 days. The first 4 days sucked, but after that it seemed to get better. Some of the juices just taste gross, but others aren't so bad. We still juice fairly regularly and are going to start another juice fast next week!

I used some reboot recipes, but I also used this girls blog:

These are all her jucing posts, and if you go back to the early ones, she even has grocery lists put together and recipes so it's really easy to use. And I found that her recipes are good (she uses some from the reboot site also.)

GO YOU!! It's definitely not the easiest, but chewing mint gum helps a ton - at least it did with me. Good luck - I hope it gets a little easier at some point for you. It actually helped me like the taste of vegetables a lot more!

Oh, and a friendly tip - if you have beet stems and the recipe tells you to juice them - DO NOT DO IT!!! It's not worth the nasty taste for the extra nutrition. There is plenty of nutrition in the juice already :)

Sorry for all the rambling!! I look forward to hearing how it goes.
