The 30 Day Writer's Challenge

Hello my loyal blog friends. Tonight I would like to bring your attention to a real blog-world problem. Lately, more times than not I open one of my favorite, closely followed blogs to catch up on what's new in the world only to find myself reading blogs full of apologies.

First it's an apology about not posting anything since the last major holiday and next it's about not posting anything important. Apologies galore! Too many pictures, not enough pictures, talking all about the kids, talking all about being single, talking all about your amazing husband...why are you apologizing?! If it is your blog, own your content.

I may not be able to help with the pictures/husband/single-doom/etc but if you can't think of something to write about and that is causing you to neglect your blog then I have the solution for you! I'm calling it

The 30 Day Writer's Challenge

There is no fancy prize, just the benefit of improving your blog and hopefully increasing your readership. Because more people will want to read your blog if you actually post something to read.

Starting NOW I am issuing a challenge to all my blogger friends. Write! Oh, it's not that simple...you can't just write about your cute kids (although I love reading all about them) you have to write about something thought provoking, life altering, and passionate. OK, maybe passionate is the wrong word, or maybe not. If you are passionate about it then that is even better. You don't have to write a novel or even a chapter book, but you have to write something on EVERY SINGLE DAY of the 30 days.

I know you're probably thinking "if I have to apologize for being M.I.A. because I have nothing to write about, how am I going to think of 30 days worth of topics?!" Stop freaking out, I have the perfect solution. Right HERE you will find a plethora of writing prompts/journal topics to chose from. That is where I will be choosing my 30 topics so we might end up writing about the same topic on the same day, that would be fun!

I'm starting my 30 Day Writer's Challenge tomorrow, but feel free to start any time you want...just make your 30 days count! And don't worry, of course I'll be reading! I'm super excited, I already have my first topic picked out. Check back tomorrow to see what I'll be writing about.

On a side note, for all of you that already share exciting news of adventures around your town, in your garden or craft room don't stop, please continue to share, just add another post to your day to make your 30 Day Writer's Challenge legit.

IMPORTANT:
If you are playing along leave a comment
(share your blog link just in case)
so we can all share in the excitement and read your amazing posts.
