In a just start talking!

I have been in a major blog funk. I'm not usually one that can't talk about something so go figure that I have blog block NOW! ("blog block" - yes, I just penned that phrase and you may send me $2.17 a use for it.)

So why is having blog block such a big deal now? Because, I have life block NOW...I don't want blog block too.

Life Block #1: Tonight at choir practice (yes, I realize I was at church choir practice on a Wednesday night, but our ward was FINALLY asked to sing for Stake Conference, so we have to get in some extra time to bring our vocals back from vacation. And you ought to hear the arrangements of the songs we are singing...simply delicious! Oh how I love to sing.) ...oh yes, so I was at choir practice tonight, we all chatted about how we need to find more people to sing in the choir and I think it was Cynde who said "and someone needs to find some more men". I can't be responsible for finding men for choir, I said. I can't find ONE for my can I find them for choir!?

Life Block #2: Photos of my friends may or may not be seen on the side of a carton of milk. Seriously. I have some of the best friends on the planet. I don't know how I got to be so lucky, or blessed, but they are amazing. The problem isn't that they aren't still amazing, the problem is that they all got on with their life, found husbands, and moved far, far away from me. I realize some may not be that far away, but their lives are so's hard to find time to get together.

I exchange emails with some of my friends on an almost weekly basis. I can't tell you the excitement I feel when I get those emails. Even if they are about nothing...I still love it.

Love you girls...miss you! Do you even read this thing?

Life Block #3: Thank you Mr. President, I would love a job! Happy birthday, now fix this freaking mess!

What I would love to do is fast forward to about March or April 2010. Hopefully by then I will have found the job of my dreams, or one at least semi close to the job of my dreams and possibly be living somewhere other than Atlanta. No, it's not that I don't love Atlanta. But I am sort of tired of it, I need a change of scenery. I need to liven things up a bit.

I'm thinking NYC, DC, Philly, Chi-town, Charleston SC, Richmond VA...idk. Suggestions? International is very tempting. Does anyone know how I get a job out of the country? Yes, I'm serious.

If I don't have a job by March or April of next year, you will more than likely be able to find me in a padded cell under the supervision of a state funded mental facility.

tootles for block still in full force, but I think I see the sun peaking through. Maybe.

You bet I read this. Regliously. I hear the blog block (check is in the mail). My last entry is from well over a month ago.

I always vote for transplanting to SLC but will visit you anywhere. Sorry it's been a while since I've been out to visit.
